This is the cavesson that Marijke de Jong - Staightness training is using and recomending for here students!
A cavesson acts directly on the horse's nasal bridge that are directly connected to the neck which makse the cavesson very effective to bend the neck of the horse. The neck is connected to the back and vertebrae right to the base of the tail. That make the cavesson a accurate and effective tool to obtain correct bending throughout the horse's body.
Cavesson Ecuyer
A classic well made cavesson of good quality from Deuber & Partner.
Used for lunging, riding, working at hand. It has a flexible nose iron, consisting of a leather-covered bicycle chain. The troatlash is removable. ( not stitched on)
Colours: black, darkbrown or Havanna brown. ( Havanna brown straps and darkbrown nosepart, as on photo no 3)
Beslag: Always stainless steel on the rings of the nosepart. Then crown buckels in silver or brass.
Size: Very adjustable in size, from big pony to full.
