Perfect to use to adjust bareback pads!
In some cases it is possible to use it as it is, if the bb-pad has a proper channel. Otherwise, it works very well to divide it in the middle and use the two pad parts as an insert in a pad with pockets, type grandeur or similar. See picture 3 and 4
If you need to sit really narrow, it is important that you trim down the inlay so that it does not build too much on the width, but preferably on the height. Here you have to try and test whats working for you.
For example, a broad horse with a rider who has a very narrow pelvis, it is perfect to cut as the blue lines show. (photo 4)
If you have a roof-shaped slightly thinner horse and a rider who needs to sit wide, it can work fine in the original version.
What one should strives for is to put riders in a neutral vertical position as picture 5
As it is very hard to get a bb-pad o fit good on horses with long and high withers.
This is a really good solution for fitting bareback pads for horses that have a lot of wither!
- pad made of highly elastic, shock absorbing high-tech material
- Remains in position
- prevents too much pressure to withers and vertebrals
- Soft, wedged borders for smooth transition to the shoulder
