A bareback pad that promotes the rider's vertical seat!
The pad has a medium wide waist and a built up seat so that the legs can hang straight down from the hip and give the rider a vertical/neutral seat without ending up in back weight. The rear part of the seat is wide enough that your sit bones are well supported and you will find a comfortable and correct seat with balance between sit bones and pubic bones. With only 5-6 mm thin covers, it gives you an incredibly close contact. Suitable for riders with a normal to slightly wider hip angle.
This model has loose panels at the bottom, thin felt panels are included, but other models can also be used here. If the horse is roof-shaped, unmuscled or you just want more channel, we recommend a Grandeur Standard pad with a neoprene pocket.
The pad is suitable for all horse types. It has good wither freedom and works for a small to medium high wither, for higher/more marked withers we recommend a Grandeur pad with wedge-shaped inserts at the front to lift.

Especially on horses with really wide backs, the rider benefits from the raised seat and waist, which means that the hips become relaxed and the rider does not end up in a chair seat.
The upper part is made of high-quality suede and the covers durable Lefa (synthetic leather). The pad is kept clean by wiping with a damp cloth. The underside is made of synthetic wool felt.
